GPT Logistics Ltd was founded in April 2009 by a group of people within the transport industry that possessed high levels of knowledge and over 30 years of experience within the sector.
GPT Logistics Ltd offers a new standard of service for pallet deliveries, with customer satisfaction we soon became an asset to many companies in the Greater Manchester area. With further customer demands and to continue with our success and maintain our high standards of service, we moved to larger premises in 2013, this enabled us to offer a warehousing facility which entails bulk and pallet storage for all our customer needs and requirements.
We are partners of The Pallet Network (TPN) – England’s leading top quality pallet network offering the highest levels of service from 100 depots throughout England, Ireland and Europe.
The Pallet Network gives us access to 1500 vehicles, 85 warehouses and employs almost 3000 staff throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe.
STORAGE & WAREHOUSING
GPT Logistics Ltd operates 26,000 square feet of secure warehousing. We have the capacity to store and control up to 2200 racked pallet spaces and 1000 block space of products at any given time. By offering a racked and block storage facility, short or long term options we are able to adapt our facility to suit the individual requirements of our customers.
The warehouse is managed by our bespoke storage software package, which was tailored to our customer’s needs and requirements, including in depth reports as to the complete movement, we can accommodate controlled stock rotation using a “first in first Out” basis, Our other warehouse services include Container / trailer unloading, Shrink Wrapping and picking & packing.
The premises have full pest control and are safeguarded by CCTV security surveillance incorporating onsite security.
